About CityCrate

We don’t just want to send you products. We want to introduce you to a place. CityCrate is a monthly exchange of local maker finds between paired cities, built for curious people with a little hometown pride.

The First Exchange

Our planned pilot pairs Miami and Austin, starting with 200 boxes. Each crate brings together 5–6 discoveries, including shelf-stable snacks, small-batch products, zines, and a playlist QR code that gives the city its own soundtrack.

Small Businesses, Bigger Reach

Independent makers give a city its personality. Our mission is to help their work travel beyond the neighborhood and introduce you to something you wouldn’t find in a generic subscription box.

A Friendly Rivalry

Every crate includes an ‘open it on camera’ card and an invitation to rate the other city’s picks on a city-vs-city leaderboard. Share your reaction, champion a favorite, or simply enjoy the discovery.
